We may say that "Six Sigma" is a "by-product" in this program. You would probably ask why? It has been observed that lots of costs of running a business is related to discover and removing deffects result from the process of product manufacture. The less number of deffects appear and the quicker they are discovered the total cost of removing these deffects is lower. That is why method for reducing costs is to run a business processes in such way to eliminate or reduce the causes for appearing deffects.
